Which gpu ?

Guys i want to get a gpu which is cheap and run crossfire fine
please tell me
It depends on your budget and what you need for. If it's for only crossfire, you don't need to buy a gtx 1080ti it's similar to killing an insect with AK-47 lolcf is a cpu run game not a gpu run game. If you have a 144hz monitor your gpu would matter
I agree with you. -
Mar101wan what is your current setup? We can't really say for sure what the ideal upgrade would be if we don't know what your current setup can handle.
There's no point us recommending a GTX 1080 if you're using a Core2Duo for example.TheShadowRo wrote: »Not entirely true ... CF is not based only on CPU ... so if you have latest CPU combined with a lower GPU like GTX 250 your FPS will be around 50 max 80 , sametime on same CPU using GTX 560 and your fps will increase to 150 ... i already test that aspect with different CPU and GPU.
Also on same hadrware configuration and game rezolution there are big FPS difference when your GPU use GDDR with 128 bits and GDDR with 256 bits.
It's not only based on CPU, true, but it is more reliant on CPU than it is on GPU.
Also the bandwidth depends on the card. You can't just flat-out say 256 bits is better without any other information.
For example, a GT 210 with 256-bit bus is much MUCH worse than, say, your 192-bit GTX 1060. -

i used my onboard intel gpu instead of my 2080 and still had the same 200fps with nothing else changing soooo it's only dependent on ur cpu and it is only dependent on ur gpu if u use 144hz monitors +, it uses ur gpu if u have ur monitor to run on ur gpu instead of display settings which isn't entirely optimal. -
The game is capped at 200 FPS anyways, every potato gpu from the past 2 generations will deliver that. If you're on a somewhat low budget just grab a 1050 ti. First though you should absolutely make sure that your current card is actually running at 100% usage or if you're already hitting the FPS cap.
If you're under 200 FPS and the graphics card isn't sitting at 100% it's a CPU bottleneck, meaning upgrading the graphics card would do nothing at all for you. Chances of the ram configuration having any significant impact on cf are extremely low.
