To buy or not to buy
Hello folks,
kinda embarassing to say but Iam currently thinking about spending part of my money on VVIP guns.
I retired already long time ago and just recently started playing again. Last time I played was still on CF:EU and around 2016 I think.
Currently its okayish and Iam having fun for the most part. Albeit the servers feeling a little bit empty even with the merge. Same for the room diversity.
However Iam stuck in a dilemma. On the one hand I'd very much like to possess some form of VVIP weapon, but on the other hand I can't help but think about the investment.
The game is clearly declining and the rumors about a new Crossfire (not the 2.0 update) are a huge bummer that make me hesitate a lot. On top of that I was always one of those guys that held VVIP guns and players in contempt. It feels a little like going against ones own principles here.
Any thoughts on this?
If someone is interested:
Iam currently thinking about the Armored Beasts Bundle + 1x M4A1 Iron Beast. + one of the VVIP characters.

It's just how much you enjoy the game at this moment. If you enjoy it, buy some VVIP's to make your time even more worthwhile. If not, don't. It's easy as that, the game will probably last for the upcoming years so I wouldn't worry about that too much.

I've had alot of struggles in the past for this same reason,do i really spend money on a game ?!...and then i always thought i should spend money on whatever makes me happy,be it clothes, food or online games...so i dont think you are going against your principles...maybe you were just wrong about hating other people for buying VIP...as for the advice on the weaps themselves i cant give much cuz im too poor to buy any... Cheers !

In my opinion I don't think you have to worry about the upcoming crossfire 2 too much because the release date is still unknown which means it'd take a couple of years to be done also it might not be f2p like this one it might even be more like the style of COD so it'd be like COD and CS:GO where CF represents CS:GO and CF 2 represents COD BO, besides, lots of people playing this game have low spec computers which means they won't be able to run CF 2 when it's released so I say CF will still live and manage to survive like how CS:GO did even after the release of CF 2, also some people still like classics like this game where it's not too modern, I mean there are already a lot of F2P FPS games from ones with low graphics to high grapichs (without mentioning names) and they might also have low system requirements despite their graphics but still a large amount of players tend to play this game, so to sum it all up I just want to say that I think CF won't die even with the release of CF 2 that I think is still going to take its time to happen..
and after all the choice is still yours so think wisely..
cheers! -

I would say wait for the sales. Right now there is 50% bonus on zp purchases until end of January so this could be a good time to buy for you . It took me 8 years to buy a vip as I used to feel the same as you. Just do it . Better than wasting money on crates -
There are games I played 15 years ago and they are still going strong so CF might have a few more years left. The noble weapons are nice but I would just get the VVIPs since some people are more lucky than others... every time I spend money on crates I regret it. Maybe wait till the next VVIP sale where other VVIps get a % off and last times they give alot of crates with the preorders.
If CF2 is pay 2 play but you don't have the blackmarket or VVIPs it might balance out... not sure how it'll be like COD BO since I thought COD was a more realistic FPS and crossfire is more fantasy with MM, ZM and the guns (like a cat, guitar and trumpet gun is not real life)
