Get Crossfire Brasil in Na aswell

Cf br is West to get them all together it is the best idea to do because then no one has to wait for a new weapon anymore like if na gets a new weapon in br it comes later if br and na merg no one would be sad.

  • I think the playerbase in BR is doing fine as it is, really no need to merge, you must realize what kind of time consuming operation the merger we just had was..
  • The brazilians used to be "the egyptians of 2010",the majority of the hackers was from brasil ,and the back at the time players had to put alots of effort to convince the gm's/devs to detach this country out of cf and create to them their own version,so to merge with br again in very unlikely

  • As Utmost said. CF BR has a pretty thriving player base all on it's own from the last time I saw. That's a sharp contrast to CF EU. To further the differences when Z8 was given the publishing rights to CF EU again after the other company decided to call it quits or lost them or whatever....it was the same GM team that runs NA/UK that took over EU and it's likely they knew then or pretty soon after then that they were going to merge because otherwise they would have re-split the GM team to be dedicated between the two different clients or brought on more people in general. Again this contrasts with CF BR in that CF BR, while published by Z8, has it's own GM team.

So a merge between the NA/UK/EU client and the BR client is very unlikely unless one of our player bases becomes incredibly small. Even if they were considering more mergers they'd probably wait to see how this one finishes out before even deciding to pursue future mergers as there will clearly be chaos with what one version had but another didn't and so on. To top it all off....pretty sure CF EU used English as their language even in-game if i'm not mistaken? CF BR uses Portuguese and CF ES (also ran by Z8) uses Spanish. So that could potentially cause issues as well.

So not impossible for future....but not likely if not even impracticable for the time being.

It is possible to add language packs in-game settings. When the transfer of CFEU took place, they also added a Germany language pack on CF West which can be found in the in-game settings.
  • I don't think it would be so easy for CFBR, to merge to CFWE as well, since it's another GM Team, etc Others would lose their job.

Yes but I was also thinking along the lines of how they present events and other things not in-game. Would they primarily use English or Portuguese then? Or would they repeat themselves in both languages and then get people confused that way? And they'd also have to keep both groups of support as i'm sure their support is in Portuguese too so they'd have to have one for that and one for English unless a good portion of support is bi-lingual/multi-lingual. (or has a competent translating software). How would the forums work then? Would we allow both languages? or would we have 2 separate sections? And the Discord? The game is the easier part to deal with language in terms of that language barrier in that merger.
  • I mean Cf NA had a much bigger playerbase and now it doesnt look so good.. you can see so many servers and they are all empty if cf br joins the servers will be full and players would keep playing because if they see a that has more than 7-8servers full. Only 2servers are full that is really not looking good.
