MOD Citru says Hello!
Hello everyone!
I think it's important to introduce myself given the current circumstances where I'm one of the two CrossFire Europe mods who accepted to be transferred to CrossFire West.
My real name is Kevin, but I go by the nickname ‘Citru’ online (feel free to add me in-game). I'm 23 years old and I'm from Sweden. I joined the CrossFire Europe mod team officially on February 9, 2018, and I’ve loved every second of it. English is not my native tongue, so please be nice to me ._.
Gaming in all forms has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I have played crossfire for almost 7 years now, and I have a pretty strong understanding of the game's mechanics and also the community in general, so I should have no problems fitting in.
My hobby is really only about helping others, playing games and esports, lots of esports…
As far as my volunteer work goes, it also expands beyond CF, to (I'd like to think) create a better tomorrow in the gaming industry by being able to build great relationships with many different people and publishers for many different games. I have been an ESL admin for a couple of years now, and my current public roles are Global Anti-Cheat Specialist and tutor, managing a game section as a head admin, and managing the Forum and Steam group moderators - of course I'm very used to moderating, so that is not foreign to me, so hopefully it won't take long to adapt.
As far as actually watching esports goes, I absolutely love CrossFire and Rocket League. I play both games religiously, and learning about the future plans for CrossFire esports makes me terribly excited to be apart of this great community, not just as a mod, but a player as well!
If you have any questions or just want to welcome me, then feel free to do so in this thread. The sooner I get to know you guys, the happier I'll be. Wait… I'm always happy though, eh... you know what I mean!

doe's this mean you can help them to code x-trap against all "hacks publishing sites" out there?because we are really at desperate state right here..people only want to relax after long day on job/college and have fun in their childhood game - but when we meet 2-3 hackers in every room It's just outrageous. -

If you know what theyre called and where to get them you should report it in a support ticket to Z8. For the most part it's a community effort because in order to detect everything (incl. current undetected), an anti cheat must use enough resources to provide that protection. This isn't possible because it means it would use up so much you wouldnt even be able to play the game.
The XIGNCODE team is doing a fantastic job. If more of the community would take the time to properly report hackers, CF would be as close to free of hackers as you could get. This idea is something that the community mostly dislikes, because why would they spend their own free time to report hackers instead of playing the game? Well, if that is your stance, you could think of other ways to divide your time, so for instance, you could collect the information, and then bulk report once a week (1 ticket per hacker to ensure a clean 'digital papertrail', if you will), but you should never wait too long when reporting.
At the end of the day, it's similar to the process of bug reports among other things, where you write down detailed reproduction steps such as 1. Login to the client 2. Start Black Widow 3. Go behind this box and do the following.... - Well, you get the idea. My hope is that more people will take the time to report and improve the game in whatever way that might be. If you are that person, then you are the hero we need and the hero we deserve.
