How to trick mutants?

ok so i see a lot of youtubers doing some weird stuff in mutation mode and they trick mutants. So they always get out of trouble and in zero time they are safe and sound? do you know any good tips and tricks? or even something i can watch to learn? thanks!

On of the hardest trick is pressing W in case u see the mutant. Gl.
