FPS drop !!
The game works smoothly with me and it has no lag in the fps or anything, UNTIL i came face to face with an enemy player it glitches for a part of a second and then run normally in this part of a second i don't know what happen i might kill the enemy or got killed but nothing is shown. and like that for nearly every round ( of a S&D game for example) when we start the round the game run fine then when i face someone it freezes for a part of a second.
i actually don't know what the problem is? Is it an FPS drop but how ! i normally have 200fps and i sometimes press tab to notice if there is a drop or anything but i can't find anything
and also it's not a ping lag i normally have 70-90 ping so i think it's fine !!
please help as this thing is intolerable and really irritating.

I have exactly the same issue on my laptop with a GTX1050. All software is updated, my pc specs are good enough, and even overkill for CF, I run at 200fps consistently and yet still I get random frame drops ever since like a month ago.
On my desktop it's similar, every so often my FPS drops to below 10 and it fixes itself within a second or two, still very annoying, makes the game literally unplayable.
Haven't found a solution to this date, still searching though, I want to play but this bug makes it unplayable. -
I got GTX 1050 ti too and I am having the same problems. Good to know it's not on my end.
Here's a video of a guy using gtx 1050 ti and his "Frametime" that is near the fps counter goes from 6 to 20ms in engagements and sometimes above 50ms causing what you experience as "stuttering" aka not smooth gameplay.
Something I haven't tried yet is trying old gpu drivers which could be more stable. But you'll probably have bad performance in pretty much all other games
Crossfire is a really an unoptimized game.. but ofcourse it's good that they are adding new p2p weapon skins, maps, characters into the game to try to keep their dwindling player base...
Crossfire HD is just around the corner.. don't bother.
Typical GM reponse: Don't worry!! Our team is going to add new weapon skins and useless events next patch!
Instead of optimizing the game for everyone.. -

I've tried literally everything with the same issue persisting... This was never an issue for me until a recent patch, idk what changed but something did. -
