and a dev. team don't actually have time to chat with players or so read / solve tickets
GM ( Game Master ) ''are full-time employees of the company and they work from the company office''

.... and GM's have a different job requirements ( found some requirement over internet ) :- Monitor and reporting of ccu, mcu, statistics, player count by rank
- Conduct and report Daily Top Up and Login check
- Forum monitoring and community support
- Plan, propose and execute in-game activities/ events to acquire new players and player retention
- Conduct tests and review on prospective, upcoming and existing games to determine functionality, playability, performance and content of the game
- Reporting of bugs, programs and/or files that affect the balance of the game such as hack programs and glitches.
- Coordinate with Product Manager for schedules and other activities
- Facilitate in-game and onsite events, event hosting, event interactivity
- Build and establish trust in gaming community to help expand the population of our community
- Promotion of all game contents/ products of the Casual Gaming department
- Testing of prospective new games assigned and submission of game reviews
- Assist in testing all facets of the games from installation to gameplay
- Performs QA tests/ reports on game patch updates before release date and coordinating with task leader and tech teams for reporting purposes
- Prepare and submit timely and accurate task and game reports as required by immediate supervisors/managers on daily shift work.
- Deliver tasks as assigned by immediate supervisors/managers
And MOD's : https://support.z8games.com/us/crossfire/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/231/13/what-is-a-mod-and-what-are-their-responsibilities
usually are choosen from players .... as you see are not same with GM's or dev. team.
Aha! thanks a lot man, and my apologies for me not doing enough research and basically making you do it for me. Much respect & love -
Lasagnya;n6865753]Whoa, looks like TheShadowRo beat me to it! thanks guy!
Most important to note is that Moderators are PLAYERS!!
i feel like people forget this a lot, but moderators are players just like you guys!
they're different in the sense that they are our moderators but they cannot recover your accounts for you
So basically, they are essentially volunteers who have less power than GMs, but their jobs is more focused on community things and peacekeeping rather than the more technical things (despite this i see more GMs than mods being active, so correct me if in wrong) -

Exactly. The mods are volunteers who help keep the community clean and assist with player issues and events. They have no in-game powers, only forum and discord. A GM's job is doing all of what was stated above, but for mods this is just something they help out with when they have time since they have jobs/school. -
