M4A1 Guan Yu. Why is it so bad?

So today the hype was real with the release of the newest VIP gun; the M4A1 Guan Yu. And after testing it pretty hard it felt super underwhelming. The recoil is really strong and the spread is extremely wide. The damage is about the same as any M4A1 so having that much of a recoil makes it almost like an AK-47 that does less damage. Ofcourse you get all the neat other attacks but the Glock function has the same problem. Huge spray and not even alot of damage. I wonder if someone who also bought it could tell me of his experience maybe I'm not using the gun right or something but man if you play this in comparison too a regular AK-47 or M4A1 it feels really underwhelming.

M4A1-S Guan Yu: great perks. love the killmark, special frame etc. but i hate the recoil.

What did you expect, all vips are trash low skill gun anyway.

Hey, any chance you'd let me try your M4? Either pub game or a private room, just wanna know what it feels like in comparison to other M4's. If yes, what's your IGN? ;3

I have m4guan, this weapon is trash.... radiant miliions time better, tho' the glock is OP

I've played 3-4 times with it and i didnt really see a huge differece, it feels just like predator or jewelry. Maybe you shoot while holding W, that would explain the huge recoil.

I haven't played with again for a day or 2 that might be it then, I'll try it out.
Thanks for the posts seems like there is no bug then or something weird.

There is nothing wrong with the Guan Yu. Recoil is acceptable, reload is fast enough, killmarks are beautiful, the Glock Special attack is OP if you know how to use it, and the Glock as a secondary is really OP.
Maybe you just need to get used to the weapon alittle more and adapt it’s perks to your own playstyle.

I don't know man it's recoil is pretty heavy. It's to the point that I would rather use any other M4, which is what I'll be doing.

I haven't seen a video that in particular goes in to depth. I've been using it alot more frequent and what Claire9822 advised did come true in a way. For me it required alot of practice before I got comfortable with it. Making this post was just me being a bit too hasty with my judgement. I do still believe that this gun has a heavier recoil then for example the Iron Beast but with practice it fires good. And again just like Claire9822 said the Glock and the special attack with the Glock is really good. So even if it's true that it has heavier recoil, the pistol does make up for that.
