Barrett nerfed?

Why barrett does all of a sudden 47-53 damage when you hit a player trough another player?
and it doesnt happen only to me. A few days ago some guy hit me in pub trough anothe player and did only 47 damage and he was confused as I was too. Today i rushed to brigde on eagle eye fired a shot hit two guys and did only 47 damage to the guy behind. Note that I didnt fire except that one shot and i didnt throw a nade. It used to be wherever you hit doesnt matter its always 100. Why all of a sudden it does 50-ish now?

Did the second one have armour?

Did they both have armour?

A gun can be "nerfed" without them having to tell us.

And it makes sense to bring out a gun with awesome power then later, quietly turn it down just a little bit

I have no words. My friend confirmed that the same is happening to him with barrett iron shark. You nerf a vip.gun while giving every free2play player overpowered guns all the time. Amazing z8.

It doesnt matter if they had armor or not..it used to be just hit and its a kill. I use barrett as my main sniper and I dont remember it doing less than 100 damage not even once. Now it happens.

i havent been around the forum lately but i dont remember seeing complains about the VIP barrett being too OP or any suggestion to be nerf the VIPs
they should have fixed that annoying vip char kick spam instead.

We tested it on colombia. Barrett vip: killed both players trough the box but didnt kill both players when there was no box. It did around 50 damage if hit in the legs and arms.
Non vip barrets: didnt kill both players trough the box and did 14 damage to another player when there was no box. So yes all are nerfed but the vip ones are nerfed less.
anyway we tested every shot a couple of times and it seems we wont see double kills with 1 shot anymore. I asked some of my friends they noticed also that it does less damage than before.

I haven’t used M82A1’s properly for awhile, i’ll need to check this out next time I play...
if they really have Nerf’d the M82A1’s then I demand that they nerf the 9A-91.
I recall Grumpy stating somewhere though on a “nerf the 9A-91” thread, that they wouldn’t nerf a weapon after players spending so much money to obtain one, so if that is true, the damage output better be a bug and not a nerf....
