crate luck for the wrong reasons

i’ve been trying to win the winchester for over 6 years now all I can ever win is the thompson, make that 4 with over 2000 crates opened why is it so hard

Because the initial black market win rate for special item is very very low, your chances of winnings are very thin and totally random.

First crate weapon i ever won was deagle camo after about 800 crates and more than a year (that was a few years ago and GP were harder to get).
And one year ago, i won like 6 different weapons with less than 250 crates , since this "win streak" i spinned about 600-800 crates and got nothing, this is TOTALLY RANDOM.
Waiting for something in particular on black market can be very disappointing and frustrating, keep in mind that the only reward that you can be 100% sure to get if you spin a bunch of crates are the reward you get from coupons. ( But don't buy the 9a if you do have a soul)

update, spent another 600k gp on the weekend finally have won the winchester, plus another thompson and lastly the ribbon after 6 years

Well, first and foremost...congratulations. As frustrating as it can be at times, it's all luck-based, it's kind of like buying a lottery ticket, you buy it expecting to win something, anything. But you're not always going to end up winning something.
