What happened to Crossfire?

A few years ago, there was still a considerable portion of the old crossfire players left, but now there's virtually none. Do they all play at a certain time of day or something? Almost all SnDs and GMs are full of new, mainly Egyptian players. What happened to the core Crossfire fanbase?

It might sound strange but you need to come online late when Na 1 only has about 2 to 4 full channels. Around this time is when you'll see the most high ranked players in games. It's basically what's left of the NA community. When the servers are full it's only because of egy's.
