Revision required in anti-cheat measures

Hi GMs & Mods,

I hope you're doing well. I am writing this thread to bring your attention to something very important. Now coming to the main topic, one of my clan mate (IGN: i][Lafangi.*), who is also my best friend, got banned for hacking or related activity. I know him since the beginning of this game. We were few of the players who stick with this game for nearly 8 years. We spent our precious time on this game. We grew up with your game. I swear I never saw him indulging in any illegal or hacking activities while playing crossfire. He always discouraged hacking activities. He has honorable badge up his profile for 8 years on this game. You guys have anti-hack measures in your game which sometimes ban or report innocent players. He was getting XIGNcode errors after previous game update. After that he got banned of which he has no clues. I have no intention to criticize your measures because there is always a chance of system error in place no matter how efficient or delegate a software is. My friend sent you numerous support tickets but he is getting only automated replies. He has moved to some other game (PUBG). So, in short you are going to lose a very loyal honest player.

What I am going to propose you GMs would be very much appreciated among crossfire players. I humbly request you guys to give one chance to such loyal players who were part of your game for more than 5 years and got banned due to system glitch or so. Give them one chance. There is a reason why they were having honorable soldier ribbon up to their profiles for more than 5 years and suddenly they were declared hackers out of no where. I am not criticizing your way of banning players. I know you guys have strict policies in place. But what i know is that you GMs always work in the interest of your stakeholders. As you know, we, the players, are very critical stakeholders for your business. You know there are lots of games available in market but we still play crossfire. This is because of your game user friendliness and community support.

I would advice you guys to compile a list of such players and reopen their accounts and monitor them for a month or two. If you would find any single ambiguity in their gameplay in future which would be against your policy then ban them forever. But do give them one chance. This will not only boost your player count but also bring veterans back to this game. I hope you understand my point. I really respect you guys and your work.I believe you will not disappoint me.

P.S. By all means, this thread serves all the purpose except disgrace or insults towards GM/Mods.

Regards,
Uzmakiali

  • Well here we are again. Good luck to your friend, although I hold no hope for him. The same thing happened to a lieutenant of ours called CyberTwerk who while spinning crates got disconnected. When he tried to log back on he found himself banned. He spent a fortune on crossfire and was honourable soldier etc ,a more honest player you could not wish for. Support stopped listening after 3 messages on the same issue to them and they could not even tell him in detail what the reason was for the ban. We even got an online petition to get his account back but that all fell on deaf ears. If what you say is true and I believe that it really could be after what I have seen in this game since 2009 , then again I wish your friend Good Luck.

So what is the solution of this. This could be onto us anyday or anytime. Processes should be streamlined otherwise players like us would not stay here any longer. I don't even know what GM have to do when they can't even have time to look at our complaints. Hope is long gone here at crossfire i guess. Time to switch to some other decent game with good supportive team.
  • I've played a few times with him. Nice guy. Sad to hear this.
