It won't end on the next patch, what ends next patch is ranked series top 50 players which get 5 crates. Season 6 Ranked is here for at least 3 months.

Seasson 6 will finish in about 3 months. (you can see the in-game guide )
Ranked Series VI - I is something else, was a suggestion that we did to keep ranked active and motivate some legit players to play ranked. From Ranked Series event, top 50 of each category will recieve 5 crates of the newly added crates.

If ranked seasson will be approximately 3 months then it means there will be 6 Ranked Series.;)
