I had my VPN connected and forgot to disconnect before I used the game

Hello,

I recently got a permanent account ban because I used the game while connected a VPN. I, however, did not intend to do so. I usually use the VPN while watching Netflix to switch between different libraries. This time though, after I was done watching Netflix I forgot to disconnect from the VPN and opened the game and that's when I got the ban. I contacted support to tell them about my stupid mistake but all they told me was that I violated their terms.

I already know I did, I just didn't intend to. I simply forgot I was still connected to the VPN. I put a lot of effort (and money) on my account and would really hate to lose it because of a stupid mistake like this. So is there any chance I get my account back or should I just lose everything for one human error?

You will have to go through support for help on this issue, tho I don't think they will unban you. VPN's are against the rules and always are in video games, why people install VPN's is beyond me.

There isn't a way to tell if it was a mistake or not so chances are you'll remain banned.

Yup, they totally declined my request. Lots of years got wasted on this game and a stupid mistake just took everything away. Thanks for everything.

sorry to hear, but this is the reason people shouldn't even have vpn's in the 1st place. i have never needed a vpn for anything

There's a million reasons why someone would want to use a VPN in certain circumstances. Saying nobody should have one or nobody needs one, especially under the rationale that you "never needed a vpn for anything", is extremely stupid

I've done a similar action recently. I wrote to the supporter center, and in a few days, they took away my ban. But sometimes, this action doesn't help anyway. Sometimes, they consider using a VPN service as a malicious performance. It's difficult to say what are they guided by. Maybe, it depends on a particular VPN you do use. Anyway, you need to be very selective in this case. As for me, I always check the service very thoroughly before purchasing it. My favorite is Surfshark. If your VPN connection keeps dropping or randomly disconnecting, fix those annoying situations when your VPN disconnects after every few minutes Don't have a STREAMERGENCY - get Speedify!
