Slaughter tickets
hey people,
From the ‘Nice Guys’ event I got the slaughter tickets and I wanna try and win the permanents. The only thing is I rarely play zm and I would like to know if you know any tips. I know that it consumes a ticket when you kill a monster and harder monsters give a better chance of the permanents. Considering this, would it be best to play the zm map with only bosses, final arena?

Hey there,
So you completed all the event and got the 100 tickets out of it, right?
If so, then you already have high chances of winning a permanent item.
As for your question, I don't think you can get good results if you play Final Arena (afaik, they don't make you spend a ticket upon defeating them), so if I were you, I would choose another map.
If you are looking for tips then, let me give you some of them:
- Play with your friends: so you can plan better how to use your tickets in a specific round an also to avoid being interrupted by any random player.
- Aim for headshots: this is not official info, but it feels like chances increase when you aim for hs.
- Get a good gun: recommended, an anti-zm weapon (Tesla, Buster, P90 are ones you can get for free in the game -temporary-). Aside from those, any MG is useful, as long as they let you move while shooting, so try to not use a GG there xD
- Explore the map: if you have already decided which map you are using your tickets on, then it would be useful if you play the map before going for the real challenge. This is not vital, but it will help you somehow. Just remember to turn off your tickets in your storage before doing this.
Get fully armored: this is also not vital, but getting some accessories (helmet, pouch, canteen, etc) that reduce damage taken from zombies will help you to endure until the round you are planning using your tickets on. So keep that in mind too.
About the maps:
- Deva City: until now, the one that gave me better results. However, remember that it comes from personal experiences so just take this as a reference. Well, try the hardest difficulty. One of the tips here is you being the only one killing the zombies in round 1. It's as simple as that, but assuming you have 100 tickets you won't be able to use all of them in that round, so you have more options here. You either kill all the zombies you can in round 8; or, in round 28 you pick an AP GG (is a special gun that appears in some rounds of the game, and round 28 is one of them) and use it on round 29. The benefits of using this gun is that has practically no recoil, with a good fire rate and let you move while shooting. Basically a boosted gun. When doing this, try to make all the zombies follow you and keep them always together. Always aim for headshots. And finally, remember that in all these cases, you are the only one shooting zombies so if you play with friends, tell them to not shoot during those rounds. And ofc, you must not shoot in any other round during the game (until you reach the target round). That's when your friends enter in action and help you in doing this.
- Dinner Theather: this map now has a considerable decrease in fps when playing in it, so it's up to you if you want to try it. I'll just leave the tips so you will have more options. Either on round 11 or 19, try killing the white-colored mutant zombies. Round 19 is more recommended since there are more zombies there. For this, you are the only one shooting them and make sure all of them are following you. The map itself will help you since there are horizontal divisions in the middle of the map so they will all be going in a straight line. You will be shooting from the back part of the map. They don't really have necks btw, so it's okay if you not hs all of them. After shooting you can use a grenade (the gray colored ones that you can pick up from the red boxes in the game) for better results.
- EMD Lab: in round 20, a big horde of crawlers will come from up. Don't worry about this, you will notice it immediately. When this happens, use the grenade launcher mode of the Fal camo gun (press F to activate the Fal camo and then right click to turn it into the grenade launcher mode). You can either shoot them while they are still on the walls or when they are already in the ground. This same strategy can be done in round 27, using the same gun on the horde of infected gorillas that appear there.
- Other maps: I've recently seen people winning by just nading big hordes of zombies in some other ZM1 maps like Unearth, Venice, and Crater. So there is another option you can take into consideration.
And I think that's basically all I can tell you about ZM and slaughter tickets. I mean, there are probably more tips or recommendations but I'm unsure about them since I haven't been told/experienced myself about them. And with it, I refer to ZM2/ZM3 maps. So hopefully someone else will also post about their experiences on those maps/modes (and again, keep in mind that doing all this doesn't guarantee a win, but rather are things you can apply into your game, that are based purely on players experiences)
I wish you the best of luck on it.
Remember there is also a guide in-game (in the slaughter ticket tab/section in the item shop) and that you can also use the search function in forums to search specifically about this matter. Just type "slaughter tickets" and you will probably find older but useful post about it.
GLHF!

I used my tickets on Devastated City... I won the gold shovel and gold jack hammer. Not sure if that's good or not..did not win any of the characters ..I think alot of people won the shovel. Maybe I'll try those white mutant zombies if there's ever a slaughter ticket event again.
