comments section on the announcements

so here's a suggestion regarding the forums system...
first of all.. I thought about it because honestly when they disabled commenting on the crossfire announcements I was kind of bothered by it. because yk.. people used to ask good questions regarding events. but honestly now, I wish they never re-enabled it ... now people just post BS for comments and ask GMs for more crates and stuff. (greedy af)
so, my idea was that when you reply on a post, your reply appears for a day or two and if a GM approves it it just stays there forever.. otherwise it's automatically deleted.

on other words,

-A reply needs an amount of time to be approved in.. (by a GM or by a number of other forumers(as with thumps up or something) ).
-The reply stays there for the amount of time noted earlier (a day or two or even a week.. whatever the GMs think is best) then the conditions apply depending on if it's approved or not.
-If a GM/MOD/number of other players approves the reply, it appears there forever (or till it's manually deleted).
-If the reply isn't approved it's permanently deleted.
that's just what I came up with.. what do you think?

  • It's only fair to ask for more crate events if we have to play a game with server issues and errors which don't seem to be getting fixed anytime soon.

And I disagree with your post.

well I was talking about the forums and how it works.. never mentioned events nor server issues :)
anyway thanks for your opinion :3
  • If this feature was to be added, then it would just be another useless addition to the forums. It's either to be enabled or disabled. It is a waste of time to go through and sort the unnecessary replies apart from the useful replies on a *single* announcement. Staff have better things to do at this time, especially in regards to keeping the game alive, which they have somehow managed to do by providing rewarding events. If people post such replies, the best thing to do is to ignore them and just be happy that they still care about the game.
