I want to bring my account from Crossfire Europe to Crossfire North America

Hello, I have been playing Crossfire Europe since beta 2011. All these years I supported the game by spending huge amounts of time and money. The last years have been a disaster for the EU version. Constant server issues (mostly) have driven the playerbase to decrease in vast numbers. The last GM team tried to fix these issues by renting a new server, but it wasn't successful as it seems the issues were client sided. The game is unplayable for me, I can't stand the continious freezes and stutter and it seems the devs have no intention to fix them or they just can't fix them at all. All this happen in CFEU, while here in the NA version the UK servers run smoothly and without that much issues and they are full of people. Many players from CF Europe got old NA accounts and they already play here. I did the same thing, I got an old account of mine as I don't enjoy playing the EU version any more. I really really want my inventory here though, for which I stuggled so much to get by doing counltess events and spending huge amounts of money. I'm willing to spend money but not in an empty account. I want my stuff here. Some people will say that the databases are different so it can't happen. Well, I will tell you this: my EU account has EXACTLY the same info as the NA one (username, password, secret q, email, even the IGN is the same). All the RP (ZP) and GP weapons I have in EU are already present in NA version. There are only some differences in the names. I will list them all here:

Most of these weapons (if not all) are already present in the NA version. Both versions are managed by SmileGate West. Can't just someone delete my EU account and add all these weapons to my NA account? I'm even willing to pay for such service. I don't care about levels, kills, wins etc etc. I just want my weapons on a proper and playable server! I can't start from scratch after all these years. And even if this can't happen at this moment, isn't it time to introduce a transfer servince between versions? I chose to write this thread, so people could say their opinion instead of sending a message to support and get an automated reply saying this option isn't available.

I think this is not possible, because CF NA and EU are two different games.. And If some guy tells you he can, he will probably just steal your account..

It's not like I started playing yesterday. Ofc I'm reffering to GMs to take that action. And as I said, yeah I know this service isn't available, but isn't it time to implement it? What if someone moves from Europe to Canada and want to keep playing CF from his account? He shouldn't be forced to stay in CFEU and play with 100+ ping. About my issue, I don't want to stay on a broken game, all my info are the same on my EU and NA accounts and all the weapons I have are available in NA. So practically I don't see why it couldn't be possible when both versions are owned by the same company.

I can understand your problem. I hope GMs make an exception and transfer your EU account with all of those weapons to your CF NA account. It can be done as CFEU and CFNA are part of the same organisation.

Thank you very much for your support. I would really really appreciate it if they do an exception for me. Though I'm pretty sure there are many people with the same issue, so I would prefer it if they could introduce a transfer service for everyone. Even if it requires payment to use it.

Big chance they won't do it. Since what do you think when the gms won't do it for the other person? Everyone will use ''But he got his account transfered''. That won't be fair. But I hope so they do it.

There's a few problems that pretty much make it so this can't or rather won't happen.

First and foremost. If players are allowed to simply transfer accounts from one version to another then some versions would likely die out due an exodus of people leaving the already low player base versions to find ones they can play with others on and have fun. This wouldn't be too big of an ordeal if all the versions were ran by the same managing companies, but they're not. While CFEU and CFNA are again managed by the same company....they were for awhile not. And most versions are not managed by the same company. So a transfer service would directly hurt another partnered company to the devs which wouldn't look good at all and likely break the existing contracts.

Another issue is that....and while it appears it's not the case in your particular example it likely would be in WAAAYYYY too many cases....is that Players would need to be able to verify both accounts on both versions. Many players can't even verify their correct information to recover their account or even change their password and then get mad at support because of it. So something that requires having that info on both accounts would be like quantum physics for a lot of people. Then mix in that it's going across AT LEAST 2 separate teams within the Managing Companies if not more....things will get confusing and lost to say the least.

On top of that, because the different versions aren't just clones of each other with things being released at different times and in different ways, the value of such of an account on one version might be higher or lower than on another. For example, i know that in some versions guns we have in ZP Crates are simply available in GP shop, GP Crates, or even just MP mall. This goes for what were limited time items in some cases too. Now this is more of a minor issue because it'd be more of an issue between player vs player where one player who spent would likely get upset that another player who simply transferred over may have gotten the same stuff without having to spend real money.

Then to finish it all off.....players can't even get GMs/support/staff to go in and remove duplicate weapons in their storages and in part of the excuse was that they don't like to/aren't suppose to access player storage's/accounts in that manner for a variety of reasons. So to get them to essentially talk between different version teams and make a transfer like that happen....yeaaaaa...

For a service like transferring accounts across versions to be feasible we'd likely would have needed all versions to be managed by the same companies with pretty much the exact same content release manors. That would have made the other red tape for creating a service MUCH easier to deal with i'm sure and thus make it a plausible option for them to consider.

But all that being said...from what i've heard about CF: EU it sounds like it would be better for them to consolidate it and find a way to transfer it into CF NA/UK. At least then they should have more resources devoted to a single version...but it's rather doubtful it'd ever happen. Though i'd think we'd see that before individual player transfers between two versions.

CF EU new gms are CF NA(would that mean z8games is the new publisher now?)so who knows maybe you would be able to play on that account but without some of the items. Played a game in 07 and a sequel made in 2011 which was pretty much the same with little difference made players able to transfer accounts for x amount of time. Another example is Gunz that game had so many different companies and people's accounts just got transferred each time same for Rumble Fighter.

Only issue I can think of here is some of the different maps, crates, VIP etc the two games have.

Give it a solid month or 2 before this version ends up in the same state. The server issues are already making the already dying pub community smaller

I think technically everything is possible as long as you have money to offer them(owners) in future incoming transactions to your account
