EGL Pro League Season 2

Welcome to Pro Invitational hosted by EGL, the EGPL.
The goal of this league is to provide a framework for practice in the downtime of events hosted by z8games.

Basic Format
This event will be a double-elimination tournament, composed of eight (8) teams. Six (6) teams will be invited, with two (2) slots open for qualification.

EGPL begins May 12th, at 1PM EDT. Each Saturday, starting at 1PM EDT, 2 matches will be played by each team. Specific rules are outlined below.

Notice: On May 26th EGLP S2 will be on hiatus, to be resumed the following Saturday.

Prizes

1st Place: $500.00
2nd Place: $100.00
3rd Place: 10k zp each player

However, there are two major changes to the rules.

1. Only 2 overtimes will be played. If the second overtime ties, a golden round will be played.
2. All matches will be best-of-three instead of best-of-five.

getbrikt - won last egLp
flipside - stepped down last egLp due to finals, were placed at the seed of 2
carbon/stdx - got 3rd last egLp, but changed roster. admin decided to keep them at 3
rawness - earned their spot last egLp

the last teams were ranked in order by admins, with qualification time breaking ties

The earlier we can find out if this Saturday or Sunday is when we play the better. People will need to adjust their schedules if you guys up and change the day to Sunday
