Disconnected due to incorrect map info
Why isn't this in the known tech issues section?
lots of people are having this problem and few Cf people have tried solutions which were all useless
Usually when I start a game I get to about 3 kills and then it says Disconnected due to incorrect map info
then it says Disconnected from server, thats when it exits out of crossfire
theres no error message after that
some people have suggested cookie options that dont work some have tried messin with there routers and that doesn't work either
ive tried turning off the antivirus too
ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling and that doesn't work either
its happened since the last update and someone needs to fix this
if not more people will switch to Combat Arms which is also free and its exactly like crossfire without search and destroy

That won't explain how people who connect DIRECT TO THE WALL (no router) get this same error either...
More or less, it's another quick automated message that MODs and GMs like saying to save time... -
