Staff incorrectly claim that many default, built in features of the forum have compatibility issues and things like that.

If they really have been so stupid as to somehow break these simple features I feel deeply sorry for them, and their web team, aside from not being worth even 1/10 of their salaries, should be ashamed of themselves.

Yes they can, it's their jobs to read all messages on forums for violations. So logically speaking paying attention to signatures would be simpler then keeping up with messages simply because a person has one sig, but at the same time can post many messages.

And as far as space goes they can size restrict them.

Well it does seem like any compatibility issue can be overcome as MODs have signatures. If we can figure it out, we should be able to have them as well.

If we let players besides moderators have signatures then as kill god said we'd have to be constantly moderating peoples signatures for graphical images not permitted on the forums and or huge signatures. Now if we went back to using Karma which doesnt work correctly on this due to some issues for the forum we can't make it so you have x amount of karma your able to use one.

Now until the karma system and everything start working fine then yeah I'm sure you could expect players to have a signature then but until then just sit tight and be patient

I've got no problem with waiting. But like I already said; monitoring signatures is less time consuming and less difficult then monitoring messages, Simply due to seer bulk. Make me a Mod and I'll do it for free for you. lol

I've been a Mod before in different places and I'm aware of the level of difficulty involved.

I'm just saying that one person in 100 posts may post 10% inappropriate material so that's 10 problem messages you have to first find, then delete.

As opposed to the same persons single signature.

I know, it's just that I (like everyone else) would like to know why and the reasons being given to us are invalid, and lets be honest, cases of sloth and nothing more.

I mean, you just monitor sigs while you monitor messages. Saying it's more work is either looking for a reason not to, or just plain laziness.
