PLEASE LOOK!!! Annoying constant load loading time and more.
Okay, I love this game don't get me wrong but there is a constant annoying disconnection/long loading time for me ONLY when I'm at school on University of California, Davis' internet; I have no problem whatsoever at home on regular DSL. The problem happens when I select anything, a server, channel, room, store, etc. It takes about 2-3 mins for selection to another. The following problem is when I'm finally have gotten into a game, there would sometimes be a window in the middle displaying "Connecting to Server" and it would stay there until I get disconnected, so most of the time I'd just have to end task the whole game and restart it. Keep in mind that this only happens when I'm on the University connection which is supposed to be really quick.
I have tried absolutely everything I could possibly think of, disabling anti-virus, turning off firewall, forwarding CF ports, running as DMZ via router, etc etc, nothing seems to work - I feel hopeless in regards to fixing this problem at this point. I'm sure the problem isn't coming from my computer but rather the internet, I asked my friend to run CF on his computer and the problem persists. I run the game at home and it runs flawlessly, no lag anywhere.
I have also sent numerous tickets to the support desk but everything is brief and no help, I was hoping to find someone more knowledgeable because no offense to the support team but all their responses are never helpful and redundant; I understand there is a lot of work to be done and many tickets that need to be answered so I can't blame them. If anyone could please help me with this problem or tell me what I should do rather than saying "your computer specs aren't good enough" or "your internet connection is too slow," I'd appreciate that a lot.
If you're wondering, my specs are decently enough to run this game, they are:
Internet speed: 50 mbps D/L 30 mbps U/L
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2 Ghz
Gfx: 8800gts 512 MB
Memory: 4 GB
OS: Vista Home Edition x64
If you guys need any more information to help me resolve issue please don't hesitate to ask. Thanks!!

I get the same problem, don't know what causes it but just restart CF and keep trying. Usually after I pick a server and channel I quickly go into storage and sit for a minute. When I do this I usually don't get the Connecting bull trying to join a game.

Well... that's not true. On my DSL internet at home, none of this crap seems to happen, its only seems to occur when I'm on this stupid school internet which is suppose to be fiber optics, I test at 50 mb or more d/l and very high upload as well; not sure what seems to be the problem - I already established it's the internet but I can't figure out a solution.
My best guess is that the school has something that is hindering CF from running properly because my other game doesn't seem to be affected. If the support team is reading this or the GM's, what do you think I should tell the University to do? I was going to ask them to forward CF ports if its not already forwarded but the last time I called the University IT support, they said that there are no blocked ports but the malicious ones that could affect the internet/server. Any suggestion you guys might have will greatly be appreciated. Thanks!!

hmmm for thaqt D/L and U/L rate you should be running fast there is a possibility that you arnt reciving all of your internet speed most companys now limit the speed your actualy paying for i would sujest phoning your internet provider up and check to make sure your getting the internet speed you paid for. of course if its your parents flat mates w.e then get them to phone up and check
could be failage due to VISTA, it uses up alot more memory for some reason
