I've been playing this game since February with no problems. They implement a patch that has 1 new map and 100 zp guns and what happens? We can't play. Fun.

We're sorry you're having troubles. Have you tried again after the traffic has died down? Like today?
We are patching the game again Friday at 1am to "fix the game". You'll be happy to note we're not putting in '100 zp guns'. Instead we're focusing on fixing content, which I believe you used to post a desire for us to do quite often. -

I'm aware you are patching on Friday, and even made specific reference to it in one of my original posts.
"100 zp guns" is quite obviously a hyperbole meant to deliver a point. I can understand the commercial aspect of this game, and how the company needs money to survive and thrive, yet it seems to me that Z8 would be nowhere without it's loyal community. DAC and I have both played since open beta. We have submitted numerous hack reports, found map glitches, made valid suggestions, participated in the online community.... I know it's not tangible money, but in a sense, it's the same contribution.
As for the fixing content: Yes, I used to desire new content quite a lot. It is always fun to get new maps and additional features.
One last thing.... wrong forums? Are you serious? I posted in the barracks where it would obviously get the most views and responses. I'm a little bit annoyed as now that I've uninstalled and deleted my game files I have lost all of my screenshots / replays.

I know you've been around since the beta. And I know the 100 zp guns was a hyperbole, that's why it was so easy to quote it.
I'm unsure as to why it seems you have a specific problem downloading the game. I'm unaware of any problems on our end as far as our mirrors go so it should be easy accessible. Obviously though there's a couple people with this issue.
The trick though would be to find common ground between all 3 areas (your 2 computers and our servers) to try and help us track things down. I realize you've probably uninstalled the game a million times now. Have you tried cleaning the registry? We as a company can't condone editing the registry because it can be fatal to the computer, but we've heard that ccleaner can help installation troubles. As for the download issue, have you tried the torrent? Perhaps a direct download of the client from another user? I'm unsure why it seems there are 2 specific people who are unable to access the download mirrors.
I'm sorry I got a little sarcastic, I just expected something a little better than a "fix your game" title from someone who's been around for so long. The things that you (and the community) have submitted get fixed over time. And right now we're making great progress to be able to patch the game so quickly with additional fixes that the community has desired.
Also, posting a thread so it gets the most views in a certain forum doesn't make that forum the correct one. You are having troubles running the game, this is a tech support forum issue not a general cross fire discussion issue. So yes, for that, I am serious. -

Finally being taken seriously. Thank you Saidin. When I get home I will try the torrent, although it didn't work for DAC.
