X-Trap Error.

This error is happening since last patch..
The game screen opens up for a few seconds then closes, giving me the error.

Here's a list of the processes I am running. Those preceded by a red dot are processes I killed before launching Crossfire, with no result.

I don't need any suggestions like "Try killing XYZ process".
Unless you know what you're talking about, don't post.

Thank you.

  • It is bit defender. Bit defender and a couple other virus scan programs are causing xtrap to crash before it can load. Several other people, including me, are having the same issue. I have already been on the bd forums and they werent really much help...

    Bitdefender has a few processes:
    vvserv.exe
    bdagent.exe
I've ended both of them, and some more.

Only one I left was livesrv.exe and I don't think it's the cause since it's only for updates.

(As I've said before, processes preceded by a red dot are processes that were not running when CF failed to load)

Anyway, I will try ending liveserv.exe along with the others next time. Will post back tonight or tmrw.
