Runtime error '5'

whenever i open crossfire and click "Start Game" on the opening window an error message pops up that says:

Run-time error '5':
Invalid procedure call or argument

I am running vista if that makes a difference
PLZ HELP ME!!!1!!1!

i am also getting that error somtimes but the i run crossfire as admin then i get it to work again
