PunkBuster
Z8Games, i suggest you take efforts to install PunkBuster on CrossFire.
Lately, I've been seeing loads of hackers in every single room i enter.
PunkBuster is the most secure anti-cheat used by lots of various games, it is rarely bypassed by any hacks and is the most secure.
I suggest you take conservative efforts to installing this system.

Punkbuster has a horid reputation.

Hacks exist in all game types, weather it is dedicated or not it's the best anti-hack I've seen so far.
I believe WoW uses PunkBuster and according to a friend of mine, he never sees ANY hackers on WoW. -

Where did you get your information on PunkBuster? Do some ACTUAL research before you post useless information.
1) PunkBuster - Used for COD. Hate to break it to you, there are PB-bypassing hacks. Fail #1
2) PunkBuster - Used for AA3. Need I say it again? Use Google. You can find PB-Bypassing hacks. It's not hard. Fail #2
3) PunkBuster - If used for CF: Same thing would happen. GG. Wouldn't work. Fail #3

Punkbuster is the worst attempt to bust cheaters ,
Punkbuster sucks , Give's ya lag every 3 sec (So called PB 3 Sec lag's google it)
It is VERY easy to bypass Punkbuster ,
Now there is 1 yeah you heard me 1 site that offer Hack for CF , i promise ya there would be 10 sites that would offer Hack for CF if we got PB insteed of Xtrap ,
Iv'e played online games for a couple of years now , and i NEVER have seen this few hack users that there is in this game in any other game , and there even is a Public hack for CF ^^
Xtrap is one of the best anti cheat guard's i've seen
The problem is that Z8 game's dosn't SUBNET bann's insteed of Account and IP banns .
It is pretty easy to change IP , takes like 10 sec , and account ban ? easy to create a new account

No thats wrong, Punkbuster is actually very good. MW2 and all games like that use it and you dotn see many hackers in them. If they do hack they get banned instantly anyway.
Combat Arms uses another ****ty program. Its really bad. HackLab I think its called =\ -

Nuff said.
Look at the games that have punkbuster and look how manny hackers it has and you will notice that every 5 games out of the 100 games that have punkbuster has hackurs
and mostly those are private hacks that nobody else has
And now X-trap/GameGaurd/Hackshield/
80 out of the 100 has hacks and 40 out of those 80 has public hack that everybody is using
You see the different?
Punkbuster has more success rate than any other anti-gamehack
The only down side about punkbuster it is so good it will even stop letting players hack that don't hack because it finds something in the memory of the pc that is not good but than it's just some useless programme
But stuff like that can always been solvedhahahaha , this thread made my day

The only reason why it took so long for them to hack cf is because everything is almost clientsided
the had trouble finding the codes for cf because everything was clientsided
X-trap updated like twice since the hackers been around and still nothing you see
Punkbuster company always download the hack them self and try to see how it's has been made so the can patch it
X-trap are just a bunch of a noobs the take look at the hack and the will patch it after 10 years it will be patched for 2 weeks than it's back and x-trap earns money again because the need to patch the same hack that the so called patched 2 weeks ago
