Melee-Only games - Why is it Pay2Win?
Just getting back into this game again from a lengthy hiatus.
I'm quite appalled at how impossible Melee-only games are to even get a positive score in with a knife.
Why is Melee-only games a case of "I paid for my Axe / Spade so now I win against you 95% of the time, unless you get lucky".
This isn't the case in normal games, with weaponry. Yes paid weapons are stronger, but it's generally in more subtle ways like silencers or bigger clips.
But I find myself getting terrible scores, because almost all of them has spades or axes. I can't even get off my stab before they 1 shot drop me.
And it's definitely not a case of I'm rusty, because when versing knifers I do extremely well.
Back when this game only had knives, I was getting such good scores I was endlessly getting kicked and accused of hacking.
But now there's spades and axes, I find myself almost getting kicked for terrible scores every round.
With just knives, my best score was 35-2. In games against spades and axes, my best score was 4-19
All my kills I get now is due to luck; they either missed or didn't 1 shot me, so my stab actually can hit so I can 1 shot them first.

I don't mind them being better. It's the combination of the 2 and the excess they go to.
Axe should be same range, but more damage than knife.
Shovel should be less damage, but more range than knife.
But they both have BOTH upgrades. From my experience... Knife is beaten by Axe, which both Axe and Knife are beaten by Spade.
Plus the weapons could be improved in a non-game wise. Same range, damage and speed as knives. But provide like XP and/or GP bonuses. -
Hm. I somewhat agree with you, though I find weapon rarely affects me (Unless they're an annoyingly good left-click axer).
The real problem is helmets
Especially since if they have a helmet they probably have an axe too, making it hella hard with knife. But meh, challenges are fun, plus there aren't too many axers/spaders that are actually good or hard to beat. -
Ghost mode is less fun when those d1cks have axes/shovels. Not only do they have crazy range by default, but when paired up with a brazilian lagging f@ggot, they can practically kill you from across the map. That's why I keep "AXE NOOB ALERT!" and "SHOVEL NOOB ALERT" on f5 and f6 respectively.

Pff that barely qualifies as a problem. Have you seen the ammount of chammers lately? Sure, it peeked out about a week and a half ago, but you still bump into a 200 ping smiley face named PedroBR with a score of 40/0 that chases you across the map and gold hs's you from across the map =/Ghost mode is less fun when those d1cks have axes/shovels. i use both knife and axe, sometimes i feel knife is even easier...
to kill axers, just be more quick to the draw, not much about it, both weapons have the same range
and to kill shovelers, always let them swing first, and never approach from the front
and yes im annoyed by shovels in gm too -_- -

BTW, If your good with a knife you can kill any shovel/axe user in a melee fight, FYI, don't complain. They're the Scar Lights of melee weapons, any pro with the M4 can kick their asses any day.
