Thats all i have to say.
Yes.
Though you can change your IP with the click of a button -

is it possible to put a permanent ban on the hard disc?
i think that would work
i mean if someone wanted to they could get a new hard disc but they'd have to back up all their data and then buy a new very expensive hard disc and then load all of the programs back.
its a long and annoying process and i don't think that hackers would bother. -

they should just ban BR like every other game
There's more where that came from
They'd more than likely use IP hiders, but trust me, their lag would be amazing, like 6000 at least ^_^I so want all those games and emulators you have
And they were all freeee
Well cept the Emulators. -

I know games that ban the MAC address on the HDD. I don't know how they did it, but it worked rofl.NoWayOut69 wrote: »I bet hes computer is really slow?
His computer may be cluttered, but it can't possibly be slow since it runs all the newest games, plus he has console emulators.
@thread
Auto IP-Ban bans the current IP the person has, it is easily changed if the person has a dynamic IP or with IP changers/hiders etc. Worthless, just autoban the person on the computer; preventing them from playing the game. -
Few have the technical knowledge to properly change their IP-address tbh.
If its dynamic, its still dynamic within a range.
If its a free VPN, they 1) Most likely are getting keylogged to hell 2) Aren't serious gamers which makes multiple bans on a single IP kind of worth it.
If its a TOR-network, it doesn't apply to all connections.
If its a regular proxy, it most likely doesn't apply to all connections, its slow as shiz, its not used by many people (especially not by many playing CF).
IP-bans tend to be more efficient then people think, its more a matter of smart implementation.
Oh, and if there were a way to automatically detect every kid hacking, we wouldn't have to IP ban them. -

Yaa but I loves em ^_^PS3 emulator? does it works?
Yeah but you have to have the actual PS3 game for it to work, and a PS3 controller. Still, better than buying the console.NoWayOut69 wrote: »I bet hes computer is really slow?
It's still fast, cos a few of those games are stored on an external HD, mainly since my iTunes storage is huuge >_< -
simple: release a patch that forces users to view a new TOS before entering the first time stating that by clicking ok, the user is ok with them checking the MAC address of your computer, etc.
for existing users the new TOS appears next time they login.
No reason to lawsut if the end-user has aggreed with a formal contract giving Z8 permission to do it. -

That's not the issue Z8 would face though, since they'd still have to enter the CPUs system to retrieve the MAC. Entering someone's system is illegal in some countries, for whatever purpose, albeit legally. -
i know that already, this program was for NA/UK. there not supposed to be here.
people complaing about a program that they werent supposed to access? idk about you but putting that infront of a legal system woudnt get me very far here.
like i said before. There is nothing they can do if they give them Explicit permission to look this info up. this is why alot of lawsuits against these kind of buisness fail. people failed to read the terms of service/play.
if they dont want this happening, then they cant play. simple as that. -

only iSP and MAC adress ban would work because u can change iP if u got a DYNAMIC iP u can change HD-iD with some tools...... if u ban the iSP (internet service provider (ip of provider)) u have to pay 4 it if u want change or macadress in both situation u have to pay or buy but z8 dont have a 0 tolerance against cheater, most of them buy a lot of zp....and z8 need the money because it's a business. no one of them dont wanna loose his job. -
We don't care if the hackers buy ZP. If they hack, they're gone.
And no, an ISP ban wouldn't even be considered.
Major ISPs in NA have millions of users, as most countries only have a few major providers. Banning any of them would limit thousands and thousands of users from accessing our services. -

So whats your opinion on MAC address bans then? I have yet to hear from your voice of reasoning on this part of the topic.
