i beg to differ in some state they busted online hackers that were hacking in a game due to obstruction of the game and yes hacking is illegal or everyone in the world would be doing it hacking a game is no different from hacking a banking log and transferring all the money to your account your still performing illegal actions if everyone knew how to hack in their own way it would be complete chaos bank account hacking , security hacking such and such using hacking to ur advantage for your own deeds such as gaining money or taking over the biggest security threshold in the world hacking is plenty illegal .

Afaik hacking only violates the TOS, not any laws. Only thing Z8 can do is punish them on their accounts (like the hackers care....)

your talking about server hacks there

technically the hacks people use are hacking the client which isnt illegal to my knowledge. if it was then people wouldnt be banned from the game they would be reported to the police
i suppose client hacking can be illegal from state to state or country to country.. that im not sure of
but im pretty sure hacking a f2p game isnt illegal

probally not a f2p game , but the thing i was talking about was their were like 5 kids having a lan party at a house and they were all hacking on a game , the creators of the game pressed charges for the kids hacking , and the kids also got jail time guess it just depends on who what when and where

Its illegal . Z8 bans some of the hackers but doesnt do something about the "sources" that are hacking sites. Maybe they cant afford it .

ME personaly cannot do anything but discuss it

yeah i guess

if you pay for the game i guess the players are allowed to protest and and possibly prosecute people for cheating at a game....

but seeming as its a f2p game im pretty sure theres nothing z8 can do about it. which is why they pay xtrap to sort the hacks out

z8 is only a portal. they cant even add new content without consulting the devs about it

its not illegal.
im not sure if they have done anything about the hacking sites as they dont publically release that info

It's not as easy as we'd like or you guys think. It's not like we can just call some internet cop and be like heyy ban this moron site, aye?

As much as we'd like that it's not that easy. And X-trap is patching alot. Much better then GameGuard. You can find a hacker in just about any F2P FPS.

Now be goodboys and girls and behave. If I see someone try to remake this, it will just end up in an infraction.
