CrossFire EXTREMLY slow! HELP
CrossFire has been really slow for the last 1-2 months now. When I join a game it loads for 2-4 minute. And when I join a room, exit out of channel, got kicked it loads for like 3-4 minute! Anyone else having that problem? It's not because of the graphic card. Anyone know why? Please help! When I want to play 1 vs 1, I cant because the loading screen takes way too long. Also at the end of the game, you know how it loads the results? (kills and death) Well it takes about 2-3 minute to load up that result screen!

RAM I'm sure is the problem. But what is HDD and how do you get it?
HDD is an abbreviation for Hard Disk Drive. It would be helpful as well to post your Operating system and basic computer specifications, such as the amount of ram you have, your central processing unit (cpu) speed and the model of your video card. -

It's not because of the Video Card, Because I've played CF for 1 year now. It was not because of HDD (thanks, I didn't know what HDD means). I believe it was because of RAM. -

How much ram does your computer have and what type is it? (DDR/DDR2/DDR3) Speed would also help. (in mhz) -

According to System Properties I have approximately 512 MB of RAM. And I have DDR (just DDR) type (Information form http://www.crucial.com/) -

That is very likely to be the cause of your slow loading then, seeing as you only meet the minimum requirements and you're also using standard DDR, the slowest type of ram that is DDR. You should try upgrading your computer to have atleast 1GB of DDR memory to ensure faster loading times. -

1GB of ram on vista is really cutting it. For vista I would recommend no less than 2 gigs of ram. If anything, make sure to have all of your graphics details set to performance for vista. Doing so should free up some of your invaluable gig of ram. -

This is one of the reasons why VISTA sucks
Windows XP FTW! -

Ok, I understand now, I'll buy a new RAM.
