Problem running crossfire, and don't know whats wrong.

Hey, When i try and start up crossfire, and after i hit the start game thing, it goes through the HGW thing and in corner it does the XTrap thing, but then it does nothing. When i started it before, it would do the above things, but then after 30 seconds of nothing, it would say Xtrap Timed out, or something like that. I don't have any computer knowledge lol, i just like playing crossfire. If i can get some help with this problem, it would be greatly appreciated.
Things I tried already: Downloading from different Mirror, using torrent, and restarting computer.

Not sure what else to try. Please help me start up crossfire again =\
