Disconnected due to Incorrect player/map info - Updated post please read
This is specifically for collection data with people who get this error.
If this disconnect happens to you can you please post:
Your In Game Name.
The Map You were playing on.
How many times a day this happened.
What other programs were you running in the background of Cross Fire. (things like xfire, or ventrillo, virus scanner etc)
Listing your processes can help too if you want to!

Maps: it happens on all maps for me and can happen upto 8-9 times
i dont usually run other programs while playing except for normall windows xp processes

Maps : Most maps.
I might be able to play upto 3 hours a day, then error shows up.
Once it shows the error message, thats it, whatever the map is, I wont be able to play anymore that day..., The error will show up like 2-3 mins after I join a game once the error shows up.
EDIT : My Antivirus is ESET Home Security.
Firefox, Ventrilo, Team Speak 3, Xfire are the only things I normally run. My regular startup programs are:

The most frustrating thing about this error is that, it happens midgame, I have lost atleasy 4-8K XP from this error in my opnion.

ok! I have a personall fix for this, it may sound dumb but try this, it worked for me. Ok, so basically what i do is you hav to open your crossfire up cleanly or else you hav to restart your computer. What I just said means that when u start up crossfire, sometimes in the g4box or the crossfire loading screen b4 u log in the thing stops responding, so what you do is you wait it out for your login screen to appear. What I do is the moment the cf loading screen appears where it says loading all textures and stufff, what i do is i touch nothing, so my computer dosnt give a chance for the window to say "stopped responding". When i do this i play cf with abolutely no crashing, but when u close cf and restart it in the same windows seccion, it dosnt work, so you hav to get it the first try. So i hav to keep on doing this everytime i play cf and since my cf takes like an hour to load its sorta boring. anyways, hopes that helped:D

-It's happened on pretty much all of the SD ones, I don't play GM or TD so idk about those.

-Typically 5-10 minutes after I start playing, if I'm lucky. If not even sooner.

-Ventrillo, xfire, avg pro and thats pretty much it for significant background applications. The other stuff wouldn't have any effect on it as its things like my sound setup and video setup and such. -

i have no idea why but for the past 3 weeks when i log on i choose the game sever and all that then when i get in a game/match i can only play for about 1-3 min. before an error happens then it either says diconected from sever, failed to connect to server or just nothing and it when i press "ok" it logs me out and my comp. restarts
have any ideas how to fix this i really need some fast

- Problem occurred every time on every map. It happened even I did not go to the room.
- Processes in windows are normal, no antivirus running, some services are turned off as I usually did before it happened, no ventrillo or xfire.
- Other note: I was be able to play if I moved around the channel and server without getting any message. After like 5 mins did that, I could play game, but if I logged out and went back, it happened again.
One question related to this bug or problem. Will Z8Games has something to give back to the people who has this problem after fixing? Not me but the other people also got so many desertion in their record. Each time the disconnect happened, we lose 1 match as well as the desertion went up 1. It really affects us right now, not the annoying stuff but the records too. -

I disconnect in the middle of every game but i dont d/c when im in the lobby or choosing a room. This has been happening for the past week.

-Lately, after turning the computer on, ive been able to play the game with no problems for 1 session. If the game closes, the error begins after re launching the game. Sometimes a restart fixes it and lets me play again, sometimes it doesnt. weird eh.

I have seen it on all different maps, in all game types, and always at a different spot on the map, with different guns.

I have XP Pro, and I've seen many iterations of XP/MCE/Vista/7 mentioned as having the problem.
It seems clear that it's a bug introduced with the patch, and thus, nothing we can control on our end. However, we do have the clear indicators of THREE ERROR MESSAGES that can pop up and cause the game to close:
1. Incorrect Map Info
2. Disconnected From Server
3. Hack Tool Detected
('Incorrect Player Info' seems to be a different issue, when a player gets stuck somewhere, or is lagging possibly, not sure)
Since we can get one of these THREE ERROR MESSAGES, it seems like a good place to start would be to find out what can trigger these ERROR MESSAGES.
It's also very frustrating that there have been very active threads about this issue over the past 2 weeks, and we just now get a 'data collection' thread. Why would anyone want to buy ZP if this is how bugs are handled after a content patch? -

Possibly every 4-5 minutes on all maps
I don't use anything else. (disabled avira anti vir and windows firewall) this is on 7 home prenium 64 bit
I have some sort of fix that will kind of give u less chances of getting the error
Google Game Booster and switch to gaming mode before playing Crossfire. it MAY reduce the problem, but it will not eliminate the problem completely. Tested this on SnD games and got through 2 matches (around 20 mins each) before I got a problem
