I think you can make one for free that can hold 8 people. Go check the site instead of asking here.

Yes you can make a free Vent server but it will only hold up to 8 people and will only be on when you turn it on and while your computer i on.

The majority of self hosted servers are usually pretty bad. In general, xfires voice chat beats about 90% of them. I suppose I did forget about it though.

Yes its true that some do fail, but not the one's that ive seen. They've all lasted quite awhile until they upgraded.
