DNS change over

For those of you in the US, this goes out to you:

Do you have laggy internet? Do your pages load slow? Do you see major spikes leading to ping rates over 1k for a few seconds? Unreliable connections?

Well, Ive had this same issue. I'm not new to computers, but I've just come across a free fix for most of us. This is a suggestion for most players that try to get the best of whats free...lol.

Please try out, even if short termed, OpenDNS, a free service...you can pay if you want, but its free. You can find it at www.OpenDNS.com, which will instruct you how to change over your DNS. So simple, even a cave man can do it.

Switched to Google DNS this AM and tested it out. Better routing then OpenDNS and has a slight, very slight, edge on OpenDNS. Customizing tools on OpenDNS are a bit easier, but for down right speed...

Google DNS for the win...bump.

Be sure to follow the instructions to set your router to use these DNS services. This way all computers on the network will make us of it instead of just the one.
