  • 50k euros is imaginary ingame money in ava, kinda like gp

    o

Umm dude I think your the incorrect one here he means £ the actual real money they use in the Europe. Not in game money like our ZP. If your going to contradict someone make sure your right first. Of course coming from a Brazilian I don't expect much from you.
  • This is kind of what Paradox is doing. I wish the whole competitive community would grow in this game and denxi has some great ideas but to be honest, I've lost faith.
  • Once you sort out the alts and a few players who are there for nostalgic purposes paradox has under 10.

We are trying to practice and grow as a team.

Yeah, I've been pushing the 7-8 man limit to whatever clan I have been in since I have come back to CF.

No, he is talking about Euro. AVA's in game money, which is the equivalent to CF's GP. G Coins are their equivalent to our ZP. I've played AVA for a good 3-4 months in the competitive scene, so I would know. Obviously you are mistaken.. and I really like your last sentence, because if he was from a different country it would mean he doesn't know whats up right?...

    @Denxi.

That's the thing I don't understand about Crossfire... COMPETITIVE teams stack 20 people on to a team, when in leagues.. only 5 - 7 of those players will actually play.. I mean would you rather sit around and pub/scrim (sometimes) or actually play to get your team better so you can PLAY in those leagues and win...
  • You lost lifetime writing a useful but almost impossible thread. Go away.

That is the exact thing im talking about...Overly confident Players...who blame everything on the lesser half of the CF community the "dumb asses" always thinking its them who are going to "eff it up"...when actually its people like this guy who have giant ego's and when ever someone trys to reason with them...they blow up and cause issues...

If you're referring to me, I don't see how I've "blown up" anywhere in this thread.

The fact that it isn't 100% impossible means it's kay.

    The Ideal

The increase the level of competitive play in crossfire, change the chemistry and overall respect for fellow players, and hopefully make the competitive community worthy of recognition. Pipe dream? Maybe. But who cares?

    The Motivation

Besides thinking it over, and some upcoming events which I'm not at liberty to disclose, the main motivation for this is the fact that, now that WOGL will be partnering with G4Box, there may be a bigger chance that good ideas from this community will have a much bigger impact than before. Especially in the competitive area.

    What is a Team?

A Team would be a group of players similar to a clan. However, a Team would have a few unique features.

    A 10 Member Limit

In order for a team to be successful in competitive play, they need to get to know each other. They need to know each other's play style as well as they know themselves. With the current default player limit of clans (25) this is not very encouraged.

    Competitive Opportunities

    a) Tie it in with the WOGL partnership. Have specific leagues and tournaments for serious teams.

    b) Separate Format. Dedicate another server for competitive play among teams. This server would have specific weapon restrictions (possibly according to WOGL rules of any Team based league or tournament going on) and specific match format. This server would also allow players to join at any time, as disconnections would always be an issue. Another thing would be a locked round format, such as options between First to Nine and 11 Rounds Per Side and such.

    The Reasoning

By creating a separate system of smaller Teams, this would build chemistry and respect among the players within each team. By creating respect for close friends, you help influence tolerance and respect for other Teams and players. By doing this, you create a more friendly and welcoming competitive community, which has a much bigger opportunity to grow.

There are more options and expansions this can provide, I've only scratched the surface. Hopefully the CrossFire community will dig deeper.

I hope that one day that the players of CrossFire will compete not to win, but to improve.

thank u some ones got sense
  • i wish.

All the good players need to stop trying to move up from whatever team they're on and instead move the team up.

I mean, someone is a starter on a pretty good team leaves them to roster ride life line? That just hurts the community.

    qft^ .

Yea, you're right, not impossible 100%, but possible 99%, so it's okey.

You don't. By the way, your sig is an inaccurate guess.
  • hmmm..i like this idea. Get more competetive clans in the game. EU is terribly messed up,theres two GOOD scrim clans: R.O.C & Airwalk. I can't think of anyone else off the top of my head who's any good.
Problem is,most people in the game are really really stupid (Br's/turks/romanians) and just ruin these things. Look at EU pug for example, the last 3-4 pugs i've done they've all been speaking portuguesse or some cr@p. Then i complain to fox and he said i'd be banned for ''cursing'',not them for speaking non english -.-
