I appear to lag!!!

I appear to lag to other players! which I think is happenning since I can't kill any one unless I empty my whole magazine into them.. other indicators such as when some one kills me with a knife they're far from me.. and most of the time people kill me with their BACK facing me ..funny but sad..

Is there any way so this can be corrected?! Please the game isn't fun at all to play like this.

What kind of connection are you using?

ADSL 253/1024 Kbps.. my connection is pretty fast actually

if you're on wireless, chances are that lag will happen. If you're really far from the router, then your ping will be horrible. It happens to me to, but I lag spike though.
