Corrupt File

When I try to install CF it tells me that the file that was being installed at the time is corrupt and it asks me if I want to retry, skip that file, or abort. Retrying doesn't work, as it just tells me to retry again or abort. I don't that skipping the file is a good idea either, and aborting...well it aborts. I've had the game installed before and it worked great. Any ideas? I'm running AVG anti-virus, and W7 is my operating system, but like said, it's worked fine before.

Get a new fresh copy of CF installer (torrent is faster)
Turn off AVG
install CF
turn on (or not) avg
start the game.

yeah try installing the game again when you turn off your antivirus.

well, any specific part of AVG i need to turn off? like the anti-virus? resident shield?

Turn everything off of AVG.

>_O... it did it again. I even went as far as un-installing AVG, but it said "An error occurred while trying to copy a file: The source File is corrupted." And then it gave me the abort option and retry option but these do nothing.... >_<... sigh... any OTHER ideas? It did get farther through the download though.

I don't understand why it is doing this though. It installed fine last time WITH AVG running...

LOL, I even tried skipping the file and it didn't even do that... It said it was corrupted again... >_O stupid errors
