administrator i need help about sound

when i m playing crossfire..i cant hear shooting sound and foot step sound..why?...i reinstalled the game and tried it again ..but no change...why i cant hear shooting sound and foot step sound...but i can hear radio messages and all...plss help...my friend's computer no problem about sound..but mine have this problem..thank you
