good with computers?

i cant seem to delete/uninstall a antivirus (avira antivir)

i was pretty sure i deleted ages ago but i saw it start up again today
i have looked in the uninstall/remove files from this computer in control panel but i cant find anything to do with it
the only error i get is when i try and end the process, error- the operration could not be completed access is denied


can anyone give me suggestions?

Ok, first to end the process you have to have administrator rights.
Second, you need to figure out what the production companies name is or what ever.
Like Norton won't be under "Norton anti-virus" because thats not the production companies name.
Norton would be under "Symantics" or something very similar to that.
I hope this helps.
Also you can try googling to see how to uninstall the anti-virus.
