Can't start CF after patch (13th April)
Hello, i will be greatful of any help please and thanks
when the patch came out i was ready to play as soon as we could but when i started crossfire it didn't patch like it normally does. it goes to the patch screenfor a second then to the hwc (or what ever the gameguard things called) and it does step 1,2,3 and then closes the bottom right box and stays on the box that it usually goes 56%...87% so on and it just stays there.
Then i woke up this morning REdownloaded game via utorrent with the link provided and then i install, i chose a different directory path and i have rebooted computer and tryed a couple of other things. and then when i started game after i re downloaded via utorrent it now says
"your client is invalid version re-instal latest version game client"... i have havn't i???
help please

if you read my thread i said i already had and do people get lots of different problems that arn't really related to the actual problem?
like mine is saying that im not up to date when i am...
but will it just be because to many people are trying to play/patch? -
I have the same problem. Game is updated but I get a x-trap error saying restart the game. Someone please help if you can. I just bought more ZP today. grrrr
thats isn't the same problem and make ur own thread about that don't steal the attention away from my problem >.< -
Same here. I'm sure the problem is that CF didn't ACTUALLY patch when the "downloading" box just appeared and disappeared. It's supposed to have stayed there and waited for a few minutes while the patch was downloaded, but i'm guessing it only stayed on the screen for about 1-2 sec, right? That's the problem.
I've had a problem similar to this, i waited for a few days and FINALLY the patch box actually stayed and dl'ed the patch....but seriously, i DON'T WANT to wait for a few days, because I've got the 7-day maiden for MM :-( -
And also I have to admit, (not that the GM's would care much anyway), my patience is really wearing thin...ever since I started CF since 3 months ago, after EACH and every patch, I'd get a problem! I'd always have to wait a while before I could play again :-/

thanks but can someone tell me what to do or how to fix, i don't need to hear every crossfire player who has the same problem
You know, I've actually already made a thread about this, and I was one of the first people, seriously. [GM]Saidin replied, he said "It's probably because of the traffic jam from everyone trying to DL the patch at once. Just be patient."
Well, I've waited for a whole day, and i've also tried re-installing. That didn't work.
If none of the MOD's or GM's post, then I'm afraid that there isn't a confirmed solution yet :-(
