Hey GM's

After reinstalling crossfire after the new patch,
I open the game, click start game, It completes the auto-patch window fine, then it
gets stuck on the little HGW game watcher window.

This thing.


By "gets stuck", I mean it nothing happens...
the HGW game watcher thingy stays there on top of all other windows, but doesn't load.

ANY IDEAS?

Same here. I'm sure the problem is that CF didn't ACTUALLY patch when the "downloading" box just appeared and disappeared. It's supposed to have stayed there and waited for a few minutes while the patch was downloaded, but i'm guessing it only stayed on the screen for about 1-2 sec, right? That's the problem.

I've had a problem similar to this, i waited for a few days and FINALLY the patch box actually stayed and dl'ed the patch....but seriously, i DON'T WANT to wait for a few days, because I've got the 7-day maiden for MM :-(
