I can't start my CF! (since latest patch!)

I'm pretty sure this is not a common problem, and that is what is EXTREMELY frustrating me.

Alright, CF has been working for me fine until today, since the "Server Maintenance" was being held. Ever since then, when I've tried to start CF, it just literally skips the "Downloading" box (for the patch), and goes straight to the "HGW game watcher" box, where it just stays there, and does nothing. So basically my CF is screwed.

Please help??! I'm so desperate to play since the new patch

*Note: The "downloading" box appears for about 1-2 seconds.

*Edit: I've already tried re-booting, and I would do anything to know if there is an easy solution before re-installing! I just HATE re-installing, I've done it over 5 times in the past!

Notice that there is already a thread about this.

Up until about 10 minutes ago the servers have still been down.

The servers are up right now, so go ahead and try it. If for some reason you are still experiencing errors it is probably due to the traffic right now trying to patch.

Try to be patient during patch time. Everyone will get patched and playing the game again.

Oh sorry about that! Guess I need to be more aware...

But I think the difference is that he tried downloading BEFORE the server maintenance was finished....that's not my case. Hope patience does pay off.
