Problem launching Crossfire_setup_v1041.

So today after 3 months i thought of giving a shot at CF again.
I went on the download's section on z8 and dlled CF off the 1st Mirror - East Coast
After downloading it i tried opening it from my download's page on google chrome it didn't work so i searched it up on my desktop, everytime i try to open the Setup Explorer.exe keeps crashing and stuff stop responding i can't even delete the old setup without it crashing.
[It happens when i right click it too.]
I don't have an AV so i know it's not that.
Anyways if someone has a solution or maybe an idea of what this could be please reply.

sorry man, ive never seen that before. its possible its not bad download but your actual windows. try goin to your hard drive right click, go to properties and tools and check your disk for errors

I've never had problems with CF before until this day i guess i'll either wait till the DLL is updated or patched or w/e altough i doubt it's the download so it must be an internal problem since all of my friends have downloaded it and installed it just fine, i hope someone can find me a solution i really want to play again and get into the hype with my friends.
