Failed to Update ASAP?

So i just downloaded Crossfire, and it gives me the error message "Failed to download version.ini" when i hit "Start Game". It happens almost instantaneously. It wont show anything for the news ticker either, it just shows an error message for the page not showing up. I installed it on my external hard drive, a WD 500 gig. Please helpz

I experienced this problem once, two days ago actually.

It was caused by my bad network. The network gets fixed, the error gone.
