2 errors when starting cf

hello gamers,
a friend of me (clanleader) has noticed some problems when he started crossfire:
the first error said this: error in intirenderer , shutting down.
the second error said this:In MFC client application has encountered a problem and needs to close. We apologize for this inconvenience.
so my question is how do i solve this problem (btw he downloaded it again but again those errors occured!
all help is welcome!!
