Error "timed out initializing Xtrap."

Yea so as the title says i cant start the game cause i time out waiting for xtrap.
I run Mcafee and yes i have made sure nothing is hitting my virus protection,
I have a 6 month old dell XPS laptop with windows 7.
This is quite frustrating and i'm very happy that i bought COD4 because i would have blown up if i couldnt play video games over spring break.... probably the worst time for all these bugs to pop up.

I thought i saw another thread on this and if thats so im sorry for creating a new one but i couldnt find the other.
