xtrap error and crossfire access commodo

ok xtraps newest update suckssssss it loads to 87% and ive got the entire z8 folder
set to my own safe files in commodo in both firewall and in defense+

however under my defense + events every time i run crossfire i get

security event
CROSSFIRE attempting to ACCESS MEMORY target COMMODO

WHY IS CROSSFIRE TRYING TO MODIFY MY FIREWALL ?
MAYBE THATS THE REASON COMMODO DONT LIKE CROSSFIRE ?
SINCE IT HAS NO BUISNESS TRYING TO ACCESS
AND MAKE UNAUTHORIZED CHANGES TO MY FIREWALL

can someone explain why it would have any buisness modifying
a application that protects my computer from
spyware malware and viruses ???
last i looked crossfire was a video game
not a security application ???????????
