a lil new lag?

i bought a new computer friday, and since then, my ping has always been from ~80 to ~150. it used to be 40 max. 35 was average. the new computer has windows 7, and is like 5x better than my old computer. does any1 know whats goin on, and if theres any way i can fix the ping spike?

yep happened to me too

Just a case of bad internet routing try a tracert and post it up and someone could tell you what's wrong.
Or try getting a vpn they cut out bad routes to insure you get low ping.

uhh, if i was a lil more "tech savvy" or w/e..i'd probably know what u were saying. but im like...not that good with computers. but yeah bro, thanks for the response

i just tried playing a game in the uk server...just to see if for some reason my ping would be lower there...its not, its twice as large. so...if any1 out there could help, that'd be tight

Nothing do to with the computer...

Its the Z8Games Servers they are running to games on one set of Servers

There is new people coming to the game every day and the servers will get a little laggy sometimes..

To help out your laggy problems.. If your connected by enthernet - Turn off all your wireless items.. Reset your router to default (There should be a little reset button you might need a pin to reset your router..-

Clean your TCP's

If that dosnt work - Get a new internet provider...

i forsure need a new internet provider, but im not the richest kid in town. so ima have to stick with charter internet =\

but its nothing with the tcp (w/e that is), nothing with the router or any of that. its gotta be the computer, because as i said b4, my ping used to be ~35 on my old computer, i get this new computer and now its 130+
