yup having the same problem I had 36 ping as usually then today its 125.

ive verified that it has to do with fios..

also, my friend dag who lives within 10 miles who has fios also has nerfed ping

lol i dont have a poor connection, i have a 3mb dsl connection and i live 4 hours or less drive away from toronto which is where i heard the servers are set up for cf. so it isnt me, my ping on all my other programs and even my ventrilo is normal, even when i connect to cf at the same time. its not on my end, its on their end


this topic need serious attention, cuz its not just me that is having this ping issue now

i also have this problem but only in the beta uk server on the delta server ect my ping is 105 like normal but when i join beta uk server i used 2 have the ping 15-18 an now its 120 :S....

Does Toronto have a storm now or something? Both of these servers are around the same distance, so I don't think it has to do with FiOS if I get 22 ping at one server and 154 at another that are nearly the same distance.

i have Verizon dsl and im spiking every few minutes up to 500+ ****ing me off. Cause my normal ping is around 40-60 max. has anyone found a fix for this also a few road runner friends have same problems so this is not just a problem to do with Verizon.

theres nothing you can do, this is all on toronto's end, all we can do is wait

We're looking for a server in Toronto, since that's where the server is located, so should be approximately how big your ping should be.
