Ping Issues

Since yesterday my ping has been at a constant 143 ping on the Canadian servers. I tried turning off all the nonessential processes and nothing helped. All the other computers in my house are turned off and nothing seems to help.

I went onto counterstrike to see if my usual servers were unusually high and found that they are exactly the same. I then tried going into the west coast/UK server to see if there was any difference. Of course there was no difference.

I checked all my internet speed and found it to be the same as usual. What do you guys think? Is it just bad connection between my internet and the Canadian servers?

EDIT: I live in Pennsylvania and I usually get 64 ping on normal servers.

It just happens to me !
My ping used to 60+ but now it is 140+

same i'm from pennsylvania too, but 40ish ping. now i have 120.

Its not you death, Many people have the same issue, i usually get 35 ping but today its a steady 125. is it only with Verizon Fios? Becuase thats what i got.

Glad to know it's not just me and I am also using Verizon.

I have the same problem, my ping has been a solid 61-66 ever since I started playing Crossfire, and yesterday I got on to find it's reset to 101-110. This really sucks. I checked my ping on pingtest and a few other games, my ping is exactly the same as it was, so this is a Crossfire issue, not a connection issue for me.

I use Verizon, if that helps at all.

its not just verizon, it actually has sumthing to do with the connection to the servers in toronto, and not just crossfire serves, its pretty much the infrastructure in Toronto

ive ran several ping tests from different testing sites and tried out diff progs to see if it was me or my isp.

you're just gonna have to wait for canada to get their s*** together
