if you have WIFI, make sure they don't steal your internet connection. put a pass on it, and make sure your parents/sisters/bro/whatever is not on the internet. if you don't have WIFI and you use the internet alone, then call the company and explain the problem.

my ping u mean status and the way to do that is close every thing that is un needed like internet explore, downloading, music, msn and so on.

Does anyone else use your internet heavily? Like torrenting often or something...

If you can, use cable rather than wireless. Could try changing ISP's too.
